RG Bayou Blue Larraue John Essink and RG Bayou Blue Larraue. They competed at 2007 Grand Nationals in Oklahoma City. John won third in Grand National Western equitation 11 and under, 4th in Grand National Western pleasure, and 10th in the World Western equitation 13 and under. |

The team won a 3rd in 11 and under equitation and in the 13 and under World Championship they placed in the top ten. They also won 4th in the 11 and under western pleasure. |

Missouri Valley Morgan youth team The team of Hance Grunden, Brandon Essink, Megan Grunden, and John Essink placed 5th in the Morgan horse judging contest at the 2007 Grand National Morgan show. John placed 1st in the 13 and under division, Brandon Essink placed 2nd in the 14-17 division and Megan Grunden placed 7th in the 18-21 division.
